I’ve recently noticed I’ve hit a milestone. I’d like to use it to thank anyone (especially followers) who have shown an interest in my architecture work and journey (and dropped the odd ‘like’!). I’d also like to give you an update in what I’ve been up to this last year.

My Architecture blog that started out as an online portfolio to aid in my job-hunt has pretty much evolved into a general blog of ongoing architecture photos, notes and ideas (I hope to post more frequently again). It’s not really in a job-hunt portfolio style anymore but has a more personal approach to new places and my experiences.

I am still working at Mdo Architects in Dublin, since my first Mdo post (https://neilorourkearchitecture.wordpress.com/2014/06/29/mccauley-daye-oconnell-architects-architectural-graduate-1-of-2-posts/) I have received another valuable year of employment with the majority of 2014 centred on new proposals for The Park Village, Carrickmines in South Dublin. I have recently completed the full programme for Royal Institute of Architects Ireland (RIAI) professional exams in University Collage Dublin and awaiting final results. It’s been a busy busy year architecturally speaking and hopefully it will all settle down a bit this Summer and I get more time to visit new places and share it all with the World Wide Web.
